Survey Facts & Tips
Never Pay To Join …
The Legitimate Survey Programs Will PAY You!!
Hey there!
I’m Callie, and I’d like to thank you for swingin’ on by. I want to share great news about getting paid for online surveys as presented here on my site. But before getting to the goodies, let me share some helpful facts and tips first. I want you to be as happy and successful as I am being a Paid Market Research Panelist, because there is decent money to be earned.
As many of my visitors know, I am a Virtual Assistant usually by day … but become a Paid Market Research Panelist mostly in the evenings. Yes, that’s right … I go through a transformation … lol. But no worries, nothing like Jekyll and Hyde or anything that grotesque or extreme. For me, getting paid for online surveys is fun and very relaxing. Good Lord knows I need plenty of both! Not to mention the decent “mad money” I appreciate so much. Us girls gotta have our “stash of cash!” lol
FACTS: Every Consumer Should Know …
- As a consumer (children too!), you should be getting paid for your honest opinions of the products/services you use on a daily basis.
- Your opinions are very valuable! Millions/billions of product/service industries want your honest consumer opinions, and will PAY you for them!
- Our opinions will always be in demand! And, product/service providers will always want to know how they are doing because they all want to do their best!
- Paid surveys are becoming more and more popular!
- Getting paid for online surveys won’t make you rich by any means … lol, but there is some nice money to be made.
Paid Market Research Panelist – I LOVE It!
Once I finally realized the above facts, I knew I had to do my part in becoming a Paid Market Research Panelist to get my share of the huge payout! Notice I said, “do my part”, yes that’s right. It’s really a responsibility of ours to voice honest opinions about the products/services we pay for and use. Because the companies, manufactures, etc. are doing what they do for us, the comsumer. They make the zillions of products/services and we purchase and use them. I don’t know about you, but when I buy something, I want quality for my money. And if something isn’t right, I want to make it known. So, being able to “make it known” and being paid or rewarded for it is ssssweeeet! Once I became a Paid Market Research Panelist, I quickly began to absolutely LOVE it!
I enjoy sharing. So I want to help get you off to the best start possible. Sit back, relax and take a few moments to review the following information. Now I know some of you may want to jump right into signing up to my survey favorites, and I guess that would be alright … lol. However, I recommend reading first.
Paid Market Research Panelists – What exactly do they do?
As a panelist, I complete online surveys, participate in online focus groups, and evaluate new products & services right in the comfort of my home. Sound interesting and fun? Well, it certainly is! Now please understand, getting paid for online surveys hasn’t made me rich, but the cash rewards and gifts that I do receive are very well appreciated, and makes for a nice addition to my household income.
Have children? If so be sure to include them in all of your profiles and/or questionnaires! They will LOVE getting invited to surveys, just like my two kiddos do. The rewards for the children are nice and make them feel appreciated for their time and valuable input. Your entire household can be included. My hubby gets survey invites & rewards too!!
Once you decide to start getting paid for online surveys, and start signing up for the programs, you will receive invitations from each survey program you have joined. However, even with your invitation you will NOT qualify for every survey, focus group, or in-home product/service evaluation. This is due to panelist demographics, profiles, etc. and is just a fact. Invitations randomly come, and you will notice that some more frequently than others. You may experience a “slow” period with some also. On the other hand, there are those that may come daily!
I’ve personally joined a nice number of panels to both balance the flow of invitations, and to maximize income potential. Of course I know everyone’s schedule is different, and some of you may only want to join a few, while others (like me) can handle more. Therefore, I recommend joining a few at a time, see how it goes, then gradually add a few more. You would not want to begin receiving more survey invitations than you can keep up with.
After joining, don’t get discouraged if you do not begin receiving survey invitations immediately. Be patient, the invitations will definitely come. It may take up to 2 weeks for some programs to begin sending the invitations. On the other hand, some invitations may start showing up sooner.
Personal Profiles or Questionnaires – What are they?
Once you’ve decided to take surveys for cash, and have joined a survey program, you will want to immediately complete your personal Profile or Questionnaire as accurately as possible. Profiles or Questionnaires contain basic personal information such as: household size, number and type of vehicle(s) you drive/own, type of residence you have, employment status, employment industry, etc. By keeping your Profiles or Questionnaires accurately completed and updated … you have the best chance of receiving a good number of survey invitations that are most relevant to you! My recommendation is to update them every 3 months or so, or immediately upon any changes. Don’t worry, your personal information and survey responses are all kept strictly confidential via privacy guidelines.
Sounds Interesting – Which Survey Sites should I Join?
Excellent question. Be wise and cautious; therefore, you should ONLY join programs that do NOT require a fee, have been researched and confirmed trustworthy, legitimate, and guarantee an incentive. Incentives: What survey programs give you for your time and participation.
Payment, Compensation, Rewards – How, what, and when am I paid?
Incentive payments, rewards, etc. come in many forms: Cash, gift cards, free products, free services, sweepstakes entries, and points redeemable for cash and/or prizes are all considered incentive. The cash payments are usually either PayPal payments or postal mailed in check form. Payment frequency (or how often you are paid) varies per survey program. There are also “cash out” limits that are set by some survey programs. Meaning a minimum dollar amount must be accumulated before payment can be requested or sent.
It all sounds good, but what about the Negative Reviews I’ve Read or Heard?
Excellent question. Honey, let me tell you this … ALL types of businesses, establishments, companies, etc. have their share of negative reviews. Even big names that have been around forever like Nike, Dell, Microsoft, Pepsi, and thousands more all have less than impeccable track records, and have their share of negative reviews. Do you think that stops these companies from progressing forward? Of course NOT!
Legitimate survey programs are no exception to this rule. Sure you’ve probably read or heard negativity about them, but you do need to use good common sense, follow your instincts, and do your research and homework like I always do prior to becoming involved. Now don’t get me wrong, I do consider the opinions of others in terms of evaluating legitimate survey sites, but I do not allow anyone’s opinion to dictate my ultimate decision of joining or not. I do have enough common sense to heed a warning, or take note of a red flag that goes up in my head. Overall, I keep all things in proper perspective.
None of the panels that I’ve joined have given me any reason to holla’, “Scam!” Sure there are minor technical issues that arise occasionally. These occurrences are few in number and are usually due to heavy server traffic, etc. But even then when I need to report a tech issue, survey panel support is very helpful and reliable. Tip: Always keep track of your survey and/or study number!! Having this will expedite satisfactory resolution of reported tech issues.
There is no BBB Logo on the site, does that mean it’s Scam?
Absolutely NOT!! There are tons of legitimate programs that are not BBB accredited; thus there will be no BBB logo on the site, nor will you find them on the www.BBB.org. There are a number of reasons as to companies choose not to list themselves with the BBB. It is NOT set in stone that every legitimate business has to become BBB listed or approved. So please my friends, do NOT get all nervous about that, or put a program off, or label a company or program a scam just because you do not find BBB accreditation. Yes, the BBB is an excellent resource, but by no means should it be totally relied upon. You should always want to do your own research as well.
Personal Research – Take time to do it!
By nature I am one to approach certain things with caution anyway. So doing my own personal research to make a sound judgment of something based on the results of my efforts is nothing for me. I do encourage ALL to be as cautious and take time to do your research, it’s important and may even prevent you from being scammed! Now, there is no way under the beautiful sun that I could actually join each and every take surveys for cash program that I promote or recommend. However, the ones that I am not a member of have been researched to the best of my knowledge and ability. So if you’re in doubt about something on my site, just do your own research. I’ve listed a few very good scam research resources that you can start with.
Personal Organization is a MUST!
Folks, you gotta be organized, or else you will be a complete mess! As mentioned before, I belong to several survey panels, and have a separate folder for each panel. I use one of my Yahoo accounts for all of my surveys. All significant emails go into it’s designated folder. Now I don’t save every email … lol, that would cause my account to explode! I do file ALL survey invites of surveys that I actually qualified for and successfully completed. I then use my handy Yahoo calendar to jot down pertinent info about each completed survey. I keep these details on my calendar until I actually receive payment, then I simply delete the entry. This system works great for me. You may have another method of organization that will work best for you, but whatever method you use … stick to it. Because the more survey panels you join, you’ll be glad you did!
Follow Up is Key – Along with Patience & Courtesy
It is frustrating when the occasional tech issues arise, especially when it involves the incentive or reward. It’s even more irritating when an email that has been sent to customer support seems to go unanswered. But even then there is still no reason to scream scam, or proclaim the survey company is not a good one. Come on people … technology is NOT flawless. Errors, mistakes, delays, etc. will happen.
I have found that follow-up, patience and courtesy goes a long way in getting an issue resolved to my satisfaction. I know that many survey companies do not provide an actual customer support telephone number to go along with the email. However, being the search Queen that I am, I have found a few actual telephone numbers where I’ve spoken to real support staff! One particular survey company that I politely contacted about a minor problem, seriously asked me if I would be interested in a customer service position with the company … lol! Trust me folks, it does literally “PAY” to courteously follow-up with patience.

You may also consider the following 2. But please be advised that International members are welcomed to join SendEarnings & Inbox Dollars; however, some countries may experience offers/program and email support limitations:
