My Starting Point …

If someone would have told me 20 years ago that today I’d be working and making really nice money 100% from home, I probably would have died laughing.  LOL  I truly did not see it coming.  But oh how thankful I am that the good Lord knew and began slowly showing me the way out of the corporate America rat race.

My background is in the Retail Banking / Customer Service industry.  Thus, having about 15 years or experience.  I loved my job, and was at the top of my game!  I had built a large customer clientele, and was highly respected among my peers.  It was a great life back then.  Many wonderful memories for sure.  Then whop, bam, boom!  After 15 years of no babies, the good Lord gave hubby and I another baby girl    Yes, kiddos are gifts, but I was damn near devastated as I’m sure you can imagine, especially at that time in hubs and my life.  But nonetheless, hubs and I had gotten another chance to “do it all over again”. lol

I had made up my mind that something had to give in this situation in reference to me and my job.  Although I was extremely happy with where I was on the corporate ladder, I had fallen in love with my beautiful new baby girl.    Maternity leave was in no way long enough for me.  I literally did not want to return to my job.  I honestly tried, but missed my little Angel too much.  I couldn’t focus on my job.  My mind and heart was on my baby girl.  I spent quality time with my heavenly Father about it.  He then in His small, still voice spoke to my heart, “Go home”.  That was all I heard, and needed to hear.  So by faith, I gracefully resigned from corporate America.  Friends and peers at work totally understood because they knew what a mess I was missing my baby girl and out of focus at work.   lol  Everyone was so happy that I’d be able to take care of my precious baby girl the way I wanted to.  You see, I didn’t want to return to working outside the home with this new bundle of joy like I did with my two older daughters when they were babies 15-18  years prior.  I knew I had to find a way to work comfortably from home while caring for my baby girl.

The search was on!

So I began my search for credible home employment, which was not easy.  I dibbled and dabbled in a few legitimate opportunities here and there, but knew none of them had the “it” factor I was searching for.  I was determined to find something to where I could maximize my excellent customer service skills, which none of those “dibble dabbles” could do.  Being fairly new at searching for work from home while being very careful to avoid scam, it took a few years to actually find something that suited me to a T. My tailor made job.  During this time, hubs and I had another baby LOL.  Surprise, surprise … hubs finally got his son! So handsome indeed.  In the hospital after I had him, all the nurses couldn’t get over how handsome my son was.  He quickly earned the nicky, “Handsome Prince”.

Finally, a great work from home job!

The good Lord had destined my path to cross with my now good friend & mentor, successful entrepreneur & affiliate marketer Eddy Salomon.  Low and behold a great working relationship evolved!  You’d be pleasantly surprised at how wonderful blessings are awaiting you if you would apply yourself, stay positive, believe in yourself, don’t give up, and have a never ending desire to pursue your dreams.

Had I not approached Eddy, I’d hate to think of all the wonderfully great money making programs, etc from home I would have missed out on.  Through him, I have been able to experience a whole world of free and legitimate income generating programs and opportunities.  Eddy’s genuine mentoring has helped me with affiliate marketing, and even a rekindling of my love for writing.   Gotta <3 my mentor and friend for that.

On my way to earning even more from home …

Currently, I work completely online and earn a really nice overall income.  I’m a Virtual Assistant and do customer service and data entry work.  Also from home I do affiliate marketing, ad sales consulting,** and paid market research (surveys).  Definitely not bad for a busy, wife and momz of 3 beautiful daughters (2 grown, 1 middle school aged) and a handsome son, upper grade school aged.  I have people crackin’ up how I refer to each of my children as a “chapter” in the book of Callie.  In reference to that book, this author finished writing 9 years ago with absolutely NO desire to write a sequel!  I also have 5 adorable grands.  2 sets of twins included!  God is good!  My work from home future looks bright with endless opportunities.  I am so thankful for the path that I am on.

All and all, I am so thankful for my life and how it turned out.  God has been and will always be good to me and mine.  I have cRaZy faith in Him for getting me through any situation, and I’ll always be open to His blessings unto me.  He desires to bless all who believe they are uniquely made with purpose, are not afraid to ask, seek, and knock, are genuinely helpful to others, are positive minded, and thankful for ALL things great and small.  You must embrace who you are.  Hold your head up with a healthy level of self confidence and pursue your dreams with hope and wholeheartedness.
